From the reading of the Papal Encyclical Laudato Si has aimed to demonstrate that the human relationship with the environment is inseparable assumption of the universal concept of human rights. Therefore, to use as a methodology, the research of the principles of environmental law and dichotomous discussion between anthropocentrism and biocentrism, in order to determine the limits (and actually there) solidarity and fraternity, as rights-guarantees for an effective and essential protection of the ecologically balanced environment and a healthy quality of life for present and future generations. At this point, it has been collate methodology and reference the principles of environmental law, especially the principle of an ecologically balanced environment and sustainable development, beginning the cosmopolitan vision of human rights from the design of multigenerational rights, in order to show the objective of this article, there is real relationship between environmental protection and development and meeting the spiritual being (this is not in the religious sense, but of existential quest for dignified life or abundance) and protection of fundamental rights, regardless of biocentric or anthropocentric view that wants to provide the environmental law.Downloads
