Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relationship between the principle of sustainable development and operation of the World Trade Orga[1]nization (WTO) through its Dispute Settlement Body (DSB). Trade, being an important ally of sustainable development, is a factor in building a democratic, just and peaceful society. it will make a des[1]criptive research based on deductive method and in literature. In this paper, the concern with the environment and the need to implement more sustainable trade policies are part, even if only timidly, of the dynamics of the WTO.
