ENTRE PAÑUELOS Y TRADICIÓN: DINÁMICAS DE PROMOCIÓN DE LA MARINERA NORTEÑA Y SU EFECTO EN LA IDENTIDAD CULTURAL DE LA LIBERTAD

Este artículo analiza cómo la promoción presencial de la marinera norteña (festivales, academias y campañas municipales) y la promoción digital (redes sociales, transmisiones en vivo y su huella en Google Trends y Wikipedia) se vinculan con la identidad cultural en La Libertad, entendida como orgullo/afecto, conocimiento/saberes, participación/prácticas y valoración del patrimonio. Desde un enfoque de gobernanza cultural, articula Estado, sociedad civil, sector privado y academia, y propone un modelo lógico en el que la promoción influye en la identidad a través del capital social cultural y la identidad de lugar. Metodológicamente, se construye un panel provincia–año para 2015–2025 con 132 observaciones, combinando registros administrativos y trazas digitales: el índice anual de Google Trends para “Marinera” promedia ≈17,2 puntos y la página correspondiente en Wikipedia recibe ≈14 269 vistas por año, lo que indica una demanda simbólica estable. Sin embargo, la densidad de Puntos de Cultura es baja y desigual, y los registros sobre eventos y coordinación son incompletos. Esto limita pruebas econométricas más avanzadas, pero abre una agenda de política pública para mejorar los datos subnacionales, fortalecer el tejido cultural y alinear mejor los esfuerzos de promoción con identidades vividas en el territorio.
