Qualis

The Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) qualifies the intellectual production of graduate programs through the Qualis.

The "Qualis is the set of procedures used by CAPES to stratification of the quality of the intellectual production of graduate programs" (CAPES, 2015).

The evaluation of journals is annual and the indicative strata of quality goes from A1 - the highest qualification - to C.

In the 2014 evaluation the Veredas do Direito Journal reached the strata A2, placing itself among the best qualified journals in Brazil.
