The science of Qur’anic exegesis is a discipline dedicated to uncovering the linguistic secrets of the Noble Qur’an, including its clarity, eloquence, and rhetorical artistry, as well as other linguistic manifestations that surpass any other discipline in this field. This discipline focuses on the study of the words of the Noble Qur’an and their meanings, making it a jewel in its magnificent setting. This science continues at a consistently high and expressive level, conveying numerous meanings within a realm that is beyond human comprehension, for the Qur’anic text has come with the broadest meaning, the most precise expression and the most beautiful, along with the marvellous harmony between meaning, phrasing and rhythm. Alongside these qualities of expression, we find precision of meaning at the same time, for no word can be substituted for another in its place, and beauty takes precedence over precision, yet precision does not take precedence over beauty; and in all this it reaches a level where no one can fathom the secret of its miraculous nature, so that the believer stands in contemplation, pondering its verses, and his faith is increased along with his belief.
