ALÉM DA COMPETÊNCIA TÉCNICA: INTELIGÊNCIA EMOCIONAL E ESPIRITUAL COMO RECURSOS ESTRATÉGICOS DA LIDERANÇA HOSPITALAR NO BRASIL E EM PORTUGAL

O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar a influência da inteligência emocional e espiritual percebida nos líderes sobre o desempenho das equipes, considerando o job crafting (JC) como mecanismo explicativo desse processo. Partiu-se do pressuposto de que a percepção de líderes emocionalmente e espiritualmente inteligentes favorece maior autonomia, engajamento e reorganização proativa das tarefas pelos trabalhadores. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa realizada com profissionais hospitalares de dois países de língua portuguesa: Brasil e Portugal. Foram utilizadas a Job Crafting Questionnaire (JCQ) e versões adaptadas das escalas IESLíder (inteligência espiritual do líder) e IELíder (inteligência emocional do líder), avaliadas a partir da percepção dos liderados. Os resultados evidenciaram adequados índices de consistência interna das medidas e sustentaram o modelo teórico proposto, indicando associações significativas entre as inteligências emocional e espiritual da liderança e o comportamento de job crafting das equipes. Os achados sugerem que líderes percebidos como emocionalmente e espiritualmente inteligentes contribuem para comportamentos mais proativos e produtivos no ambiente de trabalho. Como contribuição original, o estudo apresenta a adaptação inédita de instrumentos para mensuração da inteligência emocional e espiritual da liderança sob a perspectiva dos colaboradores.
