Main Article Content
Abstract
The generation of construction and demolition waste in Colombia is increasing, so in recent years regulations have been issued to regulate its management. Even so, it does not finish consolidating, in part, due to regulatory gaps, in part due to the lack of local regulations and, of course, due to the occurrence of citizen behaviors contrary to the provisions on the matter. Considering the above, this article analyzes the management of construction and demolition waste in Colombia, taking the District of Barranquilla as a case study, examining the degree of implementation of the instruments indicated in the current regulations. This analysis was made from a process of collecting and processing secondary data of a doctrinal and normative nature processed from dynamic data tables. The conclusions show the little progress made in the district of Barranquilla, a common dynamic to the rest of the cities of the country.
