Abstract
O objetivo principal deste artigo é, através de uma abordagem interdisciplinar e dialética[1], trazer alguns elementos de reflexão e análise acerca da atual crise do capitalismo e da (também atual) crise ecológica, bem como, resgatar algumas concepções e categorias marxistas para ensaiar uma reposta à seguinte questão: Existe uma relação entre a crise ambiental e a crise do capitalismo e, em que medida, a análise da crise ambiental pode encontrar suporte na teoria Marxista?

[1] Especialmente no sentido de buscar explicitar as contradições que Marx apontou na lógica do sistema capitalista.

Abstract
The main purpose of this article is to bring reflection and analysis on the current crisis of capitalism and the contemporary ecological crisis through a dialectical approach as well as to rescue certain Marxist concepts and categories as to look for an answer to the following question: Is there a relationship between the environmental crisis and the crisis of capitalism? And to what degree can the analysis of the environmental crisis find any support on Marxist theory?
