HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES BASED ON COMMITMENT AND THEIR IMPACT IN WORKPLACE WELL-BEING – AN ANALYTICAL SURVEY OF THE OPINIONS OF A SAMPLE OF EMPLOYEES AT AL-KAFEEL SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL IN THE HOLY CITY OF KARBALA

The aim of this study was to highlight, explore, and analyze the role of dependent variable commitment-based human resource management practices, and the impact of those practices, on dependent variable workplace well-being, from the perspective of a sample of employees with different job titles at Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital in the holy city of Karbala. The study stemmed from a fundamental premise: that organizations adopting commitment-based human resource management practices leads to workplace well-being, thus creating a work environment that enhances the psychological and professional aspects of employees and promotes long-term sustainability. The study measured two variables: 1- The dependent variable, commitment-based human resource management practices, across three dimensions (selection, compensation, and training and development). 2- The dependent variable, workplace well-being, across three dimensions (positive impact, negative impact, and achievement factor). The research problem centered on a set of questions, the most prominent being the relationship between the impact of commitment-based human resource management practices on workplace well-being and the level of correlation between them. The sample consisted of 199 employees, and a questionnaire was the primary data collection tool. To achieve the study's objectives, statistical methods were used to analyze the data using various software programs. The study, conducted using SPSS-2026 and AOMS-2023, concluded with a set of findings and recommendations. The most prominent of these findings was that human resource management practices based on commitment play a prominent role in achieving the goals and needs of employees through the integration of the dimensions of these practices in selection, compensation, training and development within a framework based on commitment, which leads to a clear positive impact on workplace well-being and the creation of a balanced and stable work environment. In light of the results of the study, a set of recommendations was indicated, the most prominent of which was calling on the management of Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital to continue with the approach that distinguished the hospital in human resource management practices based on commitment and workplace well-being, given the importance of this issue in psychological and job stability, high performance and long-term sustainability.
