This research aims to study the grammatical function of the witness in the book Al-Zahar al-Safiyyah by Al-Alawi, with a focus on the role of evidence in the transition from the citation of traditional texts to grammatical refinement. The research relies on the descriptive and analytical method, as it collects the grammatical evidence contained in the book, classifies them according to their styles, and then analyzes their function in guiding the sentence structure and grammatical rules. The research seeks to highlight the Al-Alawi style in reconciling the citation of traditional texts. and issuing rules, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the grammar lesson, and enhances traditional grammar studies.
