DAS MEDIDAS PREVENTIVAS DE ACIDENTES DO TRABALHO NA MINERAÇÃO

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that preventive business measures aimed at avoiding risks to the work environment are capable of preventing environmental and labor accidents. In the work environment, the employee is one who suffers directly and immediately all the physical and psychic consequences of labor in an inadequate place. In the case of mining, risks are inherent to the activity, exposing the worker to greater chances of contracting illnesses and suffering accidents. In effect, applying the principles of environmental law in the workplace, aiming at an environment of healthy work is in line with the constitutional dictates of valorization of work, free initiative and dignity of the human person. In this way, the present study used the deductive methodology and bibliographical research, to conclude that the reduction of risks will bring benefits to all parties involved in the work relationship, implementing sustainability in the labor environment.
