THE QUESTÃO HÃ�DRICA NAS POLÃ�TICAS PÚBLICAS STUDY OF THE SUSTAINABLE LOGISTICS PLAN OF THE COURT OF JUSTICE OF PERNAMBUCO

Abstract

Public policies have been relevant for the elaboration and subsequent execution of the actions of the governments and other entities, on the purpose of mitigating environmental impacts, of which human activities are predominant. On this matter, the Pernambuco Court of Justice is inserted through the institution’s Sustainable Logistics Plan. Thus, this article aims to analyze the public policies in dealing with the water scarcity, with particular emphasis on the Sustainable Logistics Plan of the Pernambuco Court of Justice, seeking to understand the relation with legal mechanisms to increase the hydric efficiency and efficacy. The methodology focused on documentary survey of national and international and state scopes, concerning Agreements, Laws, Decrees and Norms. International Agreements have become important promoters of public policies, in facing the phenomena and factors that contribute to worldwide water scarcity. National Laws and other non-legal instruments have followed these guidelines, seeking to adapt to the worldwide tendency to promote hydric sustainability. Likewise, the Sustainable Logistics Plan of the Pernambuco Court of Justice was implemented, with gaps still to be filled on this matter.
