The expansion of technology transfer has transformed supply and demand relationships, particularly in the commercialization of products and services, with digital platforms emerging as the primary means of facilitating commercial transactions. However, there is no evidence of a single application holding a dominant market position or concentrating a sufficiently significant market share to be considered the undisputed leader in facilitating the hiring and payment of service providers, such as housekeepers, babysitters, gardeners, and other independent professionals. This study aimed to develop a smartphone application designed for the hiring and payment of service providers, using technological prospecting as its methodological foundation to address this gap by simplifying commercial relationships through a secure, timely, and remunerated digital environment. The research adopted a qualitative and quantitative approach, including the application of questionnaires to identify users' profiles and needs, as well as comparative analyses of similar technologies, encompassing patent searches in industrial property databases, reviews of scientific literature, and market analysis. The proposed solution seeks to implement an innovative platform functioning as a "service delivery" application, integrating service advertisement, GPS-based location, security verification, user certification, hiring, payment, and service evaluation into a single digital environment. Consequently, the proposed application is expected to foster the economic and social development of service providers and their families while offering greater convenience and efficiency to service contractors, thereby improving the quality of life of all stakeholders. Furthermore, the study highlights the relevance of technological prospecting as a strategic approach to the development of innovative digital solutions, contributing to the enhancement of self-employment opportunities and the strengthening of the regional economy.
