Abstract

Este estudo consiste em uma revisão bibliográfica narrativa que visa analisar o tratamento de tumores malignos da cavidade oral com invasão da base do crânio. Foram abordados aspectos clínicos, diagnósticos e terapêuticos, com ênfase nas vias de acesso cirúrgico e estratégias de reconstrução com retalhos. O objetivo principal foi compreender os desafios e possibilidades terapêuticas envolvidos no manejo desses casos, observando-se que a elevada complexidade das lesões e seu comportamento infiltrativo exigem a individualização da abordagem e atuação de equipe multidisciplinar. Conclui-se que o acompanhamento clínico e imaginológico prolongado é essencial para a identificação precoce de recidivas e metástases, garantindo o controle adequado da doença.
