MORPHOLOGICAL CRITICISM IN AL-WAHIDI'S (D. 468 AH) SIMPLE COMMENTARY: VERBS AS A MODEL

Research Summary: This study sheds light on the linguistic criticisms related to morphology found in Al-Wahidi's Simple Commentary, aiming to highlight the personality and thought of Imam Al-Wahidi in the field of morphology. The importance of studying the Arab heritage left to us by our esteemed scholars is also highlighted. This study employs a methodology combining induction, description, and analysis to examine the problematic aspects of the research topic. Given the suitability of this methodology for such research, the criticized terms found in the Al-Tafsir Al-Basit were analyzed and addressed using other commentaries.
